For the best grounding experience, we recommend direct skin contact with the EARTHING™ product whenever possible. The sleep mat and the pillow can be used under a normal bedsheet and pillow case, which will become conductive through natural body moisture.
All our products are marked with the official EARTHING™ logo, and are a great way to connect to the earth’s natural energy whilst indoors. These products DO NOT require any electrical power and simply connect to the “earth” pin within the wall socket. The socket switch does not need to be turned on, however, it won’t matter or make a difference if it is – simply plug in and be grounded!
Most UK houses/offices/properties will already have a connection to the earth, however, we would recommend that before grounding for the first time, that you test the earth connection by using the socket tester supplied with your pack.
Plug your supplied socket tester into the mains socket and turn the socket switch ON. A combination of lights will show whether that point has a connection to the earth – the tester itself will list the required combination of lights to display OK or CORRECT earth.
Only connect your EARTHING™ universal mat, pillow, or sleep mat using the supplied cord and plug. If after testing your socket tester does not display an OK or CORRECT, then please consult an electrician before using the outlet. You must also place the connecting cord so that it does not cause tripping nor strangling hazard.
Each EARTHING™ pack that we supply will consist of three components: the item purchased (such as the Universal Mat, Pillow or Sleep Mat), the connection cord, and the socket adapter (plug) for the mains socket.
Snap the black or orange connection cord onto the metal stud on your product.
The other end of the connection cord plugs into the socket adapter (each socket adapter has two holes to insert up to two EARTHING™ products at the same time from a single plug).
Plug the EARTHING™ socket adapter into the wall socket. You are now correctly connected to the earth and can begin being grounded!
The sleep mat, pillow and grounding mat can all be wiped/cleaned with mild, soapy water and using a non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
